Mothers Day Giveaway..........

I think its fair to say that sometimes in life we are gifted things that are bad & in my experience this usually happens at birthdays or mothers day so to celebrate Mothers Day & hopefully ease the pain of a bad gift I will be giving away two gorgeous, yummy, scrummy handmade soaps from Inner Earth Soaps.

I adore these soaps and for your chance to win all you have to do is tell me what was your worst Mothers Day present ever. The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 2nd May 9am (aest). To make it easy for people to comment you can either leave a comment here on my blog or you can go to my facebook page and leave your comment under this photo. I can post internationally you just may not recieve the soap before Mothers Day :)

When I was pregnant with my first I thought I deserved a mother's day present but my husband decided I wasn't technically a mother yet so I got nothing. Thankfully he's lifted his game since then. :)

It's only my 2nd mums day and so far so good!! But I remember as a young child buying my mum the most tacky whale ornament that at the time I thought was amazing!! Poor mum has still kept it... And it is seriously the
Most uglyiest thing I've seen!!

Well last year my husband and my 4 year old son bought me pink washing up gloves. Supposedly my son thought I would love them because they are pink (my favourite colour) and because I didnt wear gloves when washing up. When I opened it, I thought it was a joke and was sitting there waiting for my real gift, but that was all they got me. Seriously thankyou hubby and my darling son, nothing says I love and cherish you more than pink washing up gloves. Obviously I dont do the dishes often enough. LOL

like you I didnt qualify for one when I was pregnant with Tillie ;) I was 8.5 months pregnant :) obviously being a super step mother didnt count ;) I have received a frying pan for Mothers Day...but have to admit it wasnt exactly 'the worst' as was a Le Creuset griddle one so despite thinking an 'interesting' choice...I did quite enjoy and heck if he gets me a doozie this year it will pack a punch as it goes over his head ;) x
