He's Watching while I Sleep

In my bedroom I have a fireplace, when I woke this morning the fireplace had a mouse sitting on the mantel looking at me, there is now a mousetrap in the middle of the mantel.
Its not that I dont like mice, I have had them as pets I just dont like the thought of this particular little mouse scampering around my bedroom at night.
Also the boys are going through a sultana phase which they spill all over the house and I shudder at the thought of a little mouse remnant being mistaken for a sultana and being eaten.
